Ambrosia

ambrosia

Submerge me, drown me, in the sweetness of Your stream,
Where Ambrosia flows eternal, beyond shadow, beyond dream.
Grasp my last breath, O Beloved, make it never depart,
Hold it for eternity, pressed close to Your heart.

Let me dissolve like ink in Your infinite sea,
No “I,” no “me,”—only vast divinity.
Every sigh a prayer, every tear a flame,
Consumed in the nectar that knows not a name.

Chains fall silent, the senses grow still,
I rest in the ocean of Your perfect will.
Drown me, Beloved, till nothing remains,
But the Light of Your Love in my soul’s veins.
