Boulders on shoulders

Atlas-the-Titan

Dye this mind in the color of Your love so deep,
Awake what Maya’s chains have tried to keep.
Her slaves surround, yet Your truth breaks through,
Unburden my heart, let the weight bid adieu.

Unshackle the ties that keep “me” bound,
Dissolve the “I” till only You is found.
For You are all — beyond compare,
The breath, the flame, the answered prayer.

Let Light rain down where the hungry weep,
Feed their souls with treasures You keep.
Though desperate for the warmth of Your face,
I’ll pour it to others, a vessel of grace.

I stand at the bottom, the base of the height,
Holding the foundation with all my might.
Not for ego, but in strength You’ve bestowed,
For in serving Your will, the true power is sowed.
