Sharpened by Darkness

Sharpened by Darkness

Break me, abandon me, test what I know,
Lay a million obstacles along the road I go.
Strike me with fire, with storm and with rain,
Still I will crawl through the valley of pain.

For You are the One who grants me might,
You sharpen my sword in the darkest night.
The fruits that bloom are not mine to claim,
They belong to the world, they bear Your Name.

Let mankind eat from the harvest I sow,
I’ll starve if I must, but still I will grow.
For hunger is nothing, illusion is small,
All I need is You — the Source of All.
