Vice Versa

god-devil

What if hell was the sky, and heaven the pit,
And the devil wore robes while the angels split?
If the preacher pulled triggers and the dealer said pray,
Would you still bow your head or just look away?

What if pain was the cure and joy made you sick,
And the saints packed heat with a crucifix?
If your enemies saved you, your brothers betrayed —
Would you curse at the light or dance in the shade?

What if war was peace, and silence was war,
And the truth felt fake at the inner core?
If your prayers made you fall and sin helped you stand —
Would you still fold your hands or rewrite the plan?

What if death meant birth, and life was a cage,
And your tears held more than a prophet’s page?
If the ones who lied wore the holiest cloth —
Would you speak your name or just shake it off?

I’ve walked on both sides, seen flames in the choir,
Baptized by trauma, resurrected in fire.
And if it’s all flipped, then maybe it’s clear —
God ain’t far — He’s just closer in fear.
